Thanks For Bearing With Me!!

Hello Readers,

Once again, I've fallen off the bandwagon!  But it's HARD to keep up with anything when you have twin 14 month old toddlers!!  But I have to say, that we are entering into my favorite four months.  As I'm sure some of you know, I am a huge Autumn and Winter fanatic.  In fact I already have names picked out if I have multiples in these months, (I've had multiples before, so it's not that crazy that I've thought of this!!).  FYI Aurora and Autumn for twins born in Fall, and Noel and Holly for twins born in Winter, and If I have extras I'll add on Ivy, too ;).  But really, I am excited for these months, I love how poetic and fragrant and fresh everything.

With things dying around, it reminds us that there is hope for growth and warmth after the season.  And you can look back and see what was really happening there.

But I am just so looking forward to spending this time of year with my healthy children.  Last year was really hard because we could not bring our twins out or do much, because we were having to worry about them getting sick, since they were preemies.  We are so blessed this year to be able to do "normal" activities with our children and makes me so overwhelmed with gratitude that we "survived" the truly scary part of parenting multiple preemies.

We are so looking forward to trying new recipes that have pumpkins, apples, cinnamon and squash!  I cannot wait to pick apples and take our twins to the pumpkin patch!  I cannot wait for the Harvest Party through our church, and to have the pleasure of watching my children enjoy eating Thanksgiving Dinner for the first time.

God is good, have you thanked Him today?  What are you looking forward to over the next few months?

Meg
