Meal Planning November 25-30

Hi Readers,

Sorry my meal plan is getting to you a little late, it's about 8 pm Sunday night here, but I'm finally getting time to write, so here I am!  How was your weekend?  Ours was pretty good, my husband was so good to me, because I had a rough Thanksgiving and was pretty bummed out on Friday, so he suggested that we make it a family weekend and we decorate for Christmas and just enjoy each other, and so that's what we did, and it was really nice!  We cleaned our house, took a chair out of our house put up our tree and decorations, and wrapped all the presents that we have so far!  I'm really excited because I had my husband get me a few things on Black Friday for Christmas:  A bigger Crock Pot and a waffle iron!  I told him to wrap them though!  I cannot wait!

So let's get started with this week in meals!

Monday:  I found this recipe for Shepherd's Pie, and I have a ton of ground turkey I want to use up, so I wanted to give it a try, plus I like that it uses cauliflower: http://pinterest.com/pin/32088216066770408/

Tuesday:  So I am going to need to use up the rest of that cauliflower so I will make cauliflower fritters:   http://pinterest.com/pin/32088216064642929/ I think that these probably won't fill us, since I won't have as much cauliflower as called for, so I will do some pork chops in the slow cooker, not sure what seasonings I'll use yet, you'll just have to stay tuned!

Wednesday:  I'm going to make a beef stew from a packet, with carrots, celery, potatoes, onions and stew meat.  Easy enough.

Thursday:  I think I'm going to do brinner, and this pumpkin pie french toast and some eggs, don't judge me!!http://pinterest.com/pin/32088216066410868/

Friday:  I am going to do a super simple and easy version of slow cooker minestrone soup that I found in my Busy Woman's Slow Cooker Cookbook, stay tuned for the recipe, or comment if you cannot wait until Friday's recipe review.

Happy meal planning,

Meg
