Meal Planning: November 19-23

Hi Readers,

How's your weekend treating you?  I can't believe tomorrow is Monday already, what the heck?  Well our weekend has been great.  On Friday we had my mom and brother watch the twins, and we went to dinner at a local ale house and then went to a movie, that's right, a movie!  Our first since May!  What a treat.  Then yesterday we traveled two hours North-ish to have my sister-in-law take our family pictures, and they turned out amazingly!  I have to say, our little girls are absolutely gorgeous little dolls, and yes I am completely biased!!  Also, yesterday (November 17) was their 5 month birthday!  I cannot believe we're so far away from everything that happened!!  And, yesterday was World Prematurity Day, which is very important to me, since our babies were two months premature.  I feel it's really important for me to raise awareness, because it is so prevalent in all cultures and it is the #1 killer of infants.  Plus I have been very deeply affected (effected?) by prematurity, so I want to teach people about it, and how preemies are different from healthy "termies".  I'll get off my soap box now, but if you have any questions about prematurity, or what my experience was, I'd be happy to answer the best I can..

Oh, one more exciting thing, Cooking For Ireland's first birthday was 11/14!!  I started this blog one year ago that day!  Although I took some time off from blogging, I've been back at it, and I am so glad, it is therapeutic to write about one of my passions--food.  So thank you for reading my blog, it does mean a lot to me!

Okay, now to start my meal planning!!

Thursday:  Here in America that is Thanksgiving Day!!  We are going to have so much deliciousness, I don't think I can handle it!!  We'll talk about that later on!

Friday:  I am going to do some sort of leftover casserole with the Thanksgiving leftovers!!

Happy meal planning!

Meg
