How's your Saturday night going? I know I already posted tonight, but I have sleeping babies and energy and motivation to meal plan, so I better get started, shouldn't I?
So I have an over abundance of cabbage and shredded carrots leftover from some coleslaw I made and I figure I should use it up ASAP so I asked on the Cooking For Your Family board on Babycenter.com what to do with cabbage, and one person suggested egg rolls, and you know what? That sounds fun, so I got onto Pinterest and found a few different recipes so from these two links I will be sort of just going with how I feel when I make these: http://pinterest.com/pin/32088216066531197/
I will still have a lot of cabbage left so I think I'm going to make this Deconstructed Stuffed Cabbage Casserole that I was planning to make a few weeks back, but I actually have the cabbage this time, so I'm going to try it out, maybe even with ground turkey! Getting healthy up in here! http://pinterest.com/pin/32088216066410672/
You know I can't go too long without some soup, you do know that, right? Well we're going to have some Cheddar Broccoli Soup: http://pinterest.com/pin/32088216066344917/ oh yes.
How on Earth could I have already gotten to Thursday, and not used the Crock Pot, or chicken?? I need to remedy that, I will do so with this Buffalo Chicken Recipe: http://pinterest.com/pin/32088216066243569/
We ought to have some seafood in our diet sometime, and Friday seems like no better time so we're going to try Parents.com's One Pot Seafood Paella: http://pinterest.com/pin/32088216065262666/
I'm probably going to be making some more fun Rice Krispies Treats too, but you'll just have to stay tuned to find out! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Happy meal planning,
