So I made stuffed pepper soup as I had planned, and followed this recipe pretty much the way it says to:
I just added some cumin and season salt instead of regular salt. I also did not add the brown rice, not because I forgot to or that I don't like it, but something had gotten into it so I decided not to take the risk. I need to invest in some canisters for my rice...
So anyway, I needed a carbohydrate for this meal, because let's face it, food people need carbs, it's scientific, I mean that's the only thing that can really pass the blood/brain barrier right? Oh shoot sorry I'm really getting nerdy pulling up my A&P stuff. I won't bore you anymore.
Back to carbs! (How fun?!) So I decided to make grilled cheese to dip into the soup, awe yeah. I'm awesome, I know, you don't have to tell me. So I made my husband grilled cheese with his habanero (I feel like that is spelled wrong..) cheddar, and mine with garlic cheddar, and we went to town on this delicious, and fairly nutritious soup!!

So I hope it starts cooling off outside, I got a Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks today, and although it was delicious, it just isn't the same when it's 80 degrees out and the AC is running... Also I cannot wait for it to cool off so I can make more soup!!
