Cinnamon and Nutmeg

Hello Readers,

What do you think I put cinnamon and nutmeg in?  What would you put cinnamon and nutmeg in?  Pumpkin pie?  Eggnog?  How about BBQ chicken?  Wait what?  Am I crazy?  Or just desperate?  Well, to be honest, both.  Seriously, I had an insane day, babies crying, dogs begging, messy house!  The horrors of a stay at home twin mommy!!
But really, I ran out of brown sugar and I always skip the baking isle because let's face it, I never bake.  I just don't, not often anyway.  So I was trying to figure out what I could do to replace it in my recipe.  I really didn't want to add something else sweet, since I was already using sweet and spicy sauce, so I started searching my cupboards.  I found molasses, cinnamon, and nutmeg.  I recently just used nutmeg in my macaroni and cheese and I really like how it "Autumned" my dish, so I thought, why not put it in?  Why not? I also added some cinnamon, because I like it.  I just do.
So I cooked the chicken like normal, and served on buns that I dipped into the sauce, and it was pretty good, it actually came out sweeter than when we add the brown sugar, but you could also taste the vinegar more.  It was good, interesting, but good.  We liked it, but I like the brown sugar version more.
