I'm just making the turkey sliders again tonight, this time I actually have onions that I will carmelize and deglaze in BBQ sauce, and I'm just serving them on leftover rolls from Thanksgiving dinner. This blog isn't about that, since I've already made it, of course.
There are some recipes that I want to try, and I'm going to forget about unless I write them down, plus, it is a looksee into the future for y'all :)
So my dad gave me a pack of short ribs, and I had no clue what to do with them, so I threw them in my spare fridge, hiding from the scariness of the unknown. So I finally decided to find something to do with them.
I found this recipe to cook the short ribs:
Crock pot braised short ribs, so I will cook them one day, and then the next day I will make this recipe:
FAJITA CHILI. Need I say more? Plus, I haven't made chili in a really long time, and that just sounds amazing.
My dad also gave my soup bones, which I didn't even know what they were, so I did some research to find out HOW to cook these scary sounding things. This is what I found:
Basically it is a soup bone stew! I just don't think I would re-enter the bone marrow, it just creeps me out, I'm sorry. I am excited to get some barley to put in this, and maybe try out some different root veggies, such as parsnips. What are parsnips? I just know they are root veggies, I should try them!
SALTED CARAMEL ALMOND THUMBPRINT COOKIES. I love this new trend, it is going to be such a fun recipe, and seems really cute and yummy! I love the whole thumbprint thing too, so cute.
There are so many other recipes that I want to try, trust me, if you checked my Pin Board, my saved websites, and my recipe boxes in all my online food website places. I hope y'all look into these recipes, and are looking forward to reading my blogs.
